Color Out of Space is the perfect movie to scare the shit out of you. It’s also one of the Best Serious Mindbending Horror films in a very long time. This is the kind of work that you hope and pray that Nicolas Cage is involved with. This is the kind of return to cinema for a director shunted by the industry that you hope for.

The guys laid the praise for a praiseworthy film. They also discuss producer Elijah Wood’s use of his Lord of the Ring money and clout for the good of genre. This leads to some great discussion of other actors in his generation doing the same.
