3. The Show
I came across this title while searching for films that will be released this coming year, and after reading the following I was, again, sold. “A man’s search for a stolen artifact leads him to the haunted town filled with Voodoo gangsters, masked adventurers, Depression-era private eyes and violent chiaroscuro women.” – IMDb. While it will most likely go to select art houses and cinemas, I will gladly make the drive.

2. Little Women
Another nostalgic experience to look forward to in the new year, while I am loyal to the Winona Ryder and Susan Sarandon adaptation from 1994, I cannot wait to see what Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan, and Meryl Streep offer the theater of children’s literature fans.
